We, IAU, are very pleased to announce that the 2021 IAU 50 km World Championships was granted to Taipei, Taiwan. The Championships will take place on October 31st, 2021 and it will be organize by Chinese Taipei Association of Ultrarunners (CTAU).
In 2018 Taipei was the host of IAU 24H Asia & Oceania Championships. It was great success and finally the LOC decided to apply for another IAU Event.
Taipei is well known for organizing for almost 20 years a prestigious Soochow 24H international event where many world best class results were set. The race course is 10 km loop and 3 km from the athletics village in the Dajia Riverside park where all athletes will be located.
